Black & Color Cartridges
1. Use a piece of adhesive tape to seal each outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge. It is recommended to use a separate piece over each hole.
2. Attach the needle to the syringe with the appropriate color ink.
3.Using the needle, push through the label all the way into the cartridge of the correct filling hole. Very slowly inject ink into the sponge until the cartridge is full. (This will soak the sponge with ink and refill the reservoir).
4. Seal the breather hole(s)
with black electrical tape to seal the filling hole completely.. Note: The cartridge will leak if the breather holes are not sealed properly.
Let the cartridge sit out in a sink for 5 min before reinserting
into printer to check for leakage.
5. Any unused ink may be returned to the bottle. Rinse the syringe with water and dry between each color refilling or store for further.
6. Reinsert the cartridge leaving the tape on the outlet holes and run cleaning cycles as per printer instructions. If necessary leave for up to 24 hours to allow the ink to flow to the print head.
NOTE: If cartridge is refilled before it is completely empty this time is greatly reduced.
