Color Cartridge
1. To locate the filler hole of the cartridge you must remove the plastic cover. This cover must be removed before refilling by carefully prying it off with a thin metal blade, such as a utility knife. Important: Make certain not to damage the sensors on the back of the cartridge.

2. Attach the needle to the syringe and fill with the correct color ink.
3. Insert the filling needle into the corresponding hole of the color to be refilled, (see diagram above) and push all the way down into the center of the cartridge. Note: You will feel a slight pressure because the cartridge contains a sponge.
4. Slowly inject approximately 8 ml. of ink, per chamber, into the cartridge until the ink just begins to surface on the top of the sponge. Important: The sponge inside the cartridge is white. And to prevent overfilling the cartridge do not change the color of the sponge to the color you are filling. When the ink just begins to surface where the needle is inserted, stop filling, the cartridge is full.
5. Rinse the needle point and syringe with water and dry between each color refilling or store for future use.
6. The cover can be reattached securely with a piece of adhesive tape.
Black Cartridge
1. Using an eyelet screw or a sharp object, enlarge the filling hole. (Do not remove the cap).
2. Fill the syringe with ink, insert the filling needle into the filling hole and push downwards all the way into the cartridge. Slowly inject up to 20 ml. of ink or until the reservoir is full.
Note: Immediately refill any empty cartridges.
